CONGRATULATIONS! Cracking achievement ... ignore my text, I forgot to check the blog!
Hope to see you when you're back in Blighty.
Cheers, I'll be raising a glass to you!
Peter
PS. I did do my 40 minute non-stop run (Okay, jog) which was my best yet.
Hi Steve.
Believe me mate had there been wheechair access at the top I would have taken advantage of it.
I'm absolutely certain that pushing you to the top would not be an option. Getting you down though might have been easier. However you would have had to take the brakes off to catch Joe who fell about 20 metres on the decent.
Pete
Well done on the run mate. It is testement to the person hat you are that 3 of the guys on this trip send their best wishes to you having met you when you went back to finish Kili.
See you both soon
Clive
Not bad for a fat guy! Well done and congratulations. Will you be training for the Tadcaster Triathlon now?
Glen
Well done Clive. Very impressive, look forward to hearing about it and seeing some photos.
Andy
Congratulations Clive: Everyone back in the UK was placing bets at what point you would throw the towel in: Bookies set to win a fortune. Only joking mate.
Looking forward to hearing all about it.
All best
Richard

hello i wasn't there when you went to Selby High on the wednesday i am in year 11 but i have heard alot about you
i am a year 11 pupil at selby high school and you resantly came and did a speech to us and i would like to say that the speech was so funny but yet it said alot to me about my self esteem.
Hi Richard and Glenn
Thanks to you both for taking the time to log on and comment.

If I had known someone was running a book I would have taken some of the action myself. What odds were they giving on me actually making the top. Given that only 4% of this years attempts on the summit were successful (that's about 160 successes) the odds against me making it would have been worth a dabble I guess. However anyone who really knows me would have taken the same bet. I didn't get on a plane to Argentina to not climb a mountain. I know you would have backed me mate. It was good to see you in Manchester last week, hope you enjoyed the presentation. See you soon.
Hi Glen
I did look thin for a couple of days when I came down. Unfortunately the beer and cakes in Mendoza put paid to the new look though. I'm back to my usual self now. My triathlon days are over and have been for some time. I find that taking my time over things nowadays ensures that I get there in the end. I would fear for your marshals if I entered your race. By the time I got to the finish line some of them could be suffering from exposure. I am happy to marshal my corner again though if you let me know what date it is on and as long as it isn't the 5th or 19th May.
See you soon
Good morning David Daniel and Luke.
Thanks for taking time out to take a look at the web site and blog. I didn't tell you about either whenI spoke at the school so I assume you took the initiative to check me out yourselves.
I really enjoyed the session we did with year 11 at Selby school and I'm glad you did too. It really was one of the most enjoyable sessions I have ever done. A great audience makes a difference though.
David: if you email me at clive@clivegott.com we can sort out a DVD for you mate.
Daniel: sorry you missed the session. None of the other years will be getting the full session that year 11 saw but they will be getting parts of it. Perhaps you can sneak in at the back and take a look. Or you can always share David's DVD?
Luke: It's great that even though the session was a lot of fun you still took away some of the serious messages that I put across. I always find humour is a great tool to use when trying to get a message across to any audience. It probably works the same with teachers. My guess is that students will relate to a teacher who uses humour effectively more than some of the boring old farts that I had to put up with.
Have a great week guys
Clive
Hi Andy
Thanks to you too for taking the time to get in touch. And thanks also for taking the time to produce and deliver my sign. I have to admit that I was so 'out there' at the top that it completely slipped my mind to take it out of my rucksack and use it. It was still up there with me though mate and the thought was much appreciated.
See you soon
Clive
Hi Clive. Greetings from Dubai. It's always good to hear about your "exploits". Your successful climb to Mount Aconcagua puts the icing on the cake. Knowing you so well, I never doubted for a moment that you could do it. Congratulations. I remember the much raved about 'Believe You Can' and 'Effective Presentation Skills' programmes you conducted for literally hundred's of Etisalat management staff, across the UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, over a period of one year. More power to your elbow! Kind regards, Ivan Pais

Congratulations, Clive! Well done, mate. Another great achievement. I look forward to hearing your stories in due course.
In hindsight, could you have managed to push me up and down the mountain in my wheelchair? Were there any wheelchair accessible toilets at the summit?
Best wishes. See you soon.
Steve
